How Do I Add Documents to a Folio?

Open up your Folio, it will open Folio Editor. Go to Add Document, and a dialog appears. For adding documents, you enter the title, an optional number and description, the revision number, which can be a number, a letter, a roman numeral, whatever suits you. Then there’s the revision comment, document type. Who is the author? And for the path, you browse to find the file. Click OK and the document is listed. To edit a document inside, highlight the document and click Open, which will open the editor for that specific document type. Do what you need to do on the document, then save and close. There are some other functions that I should make note of here. The documents are listed in the order in which they were added, so if you want to change the order for whatever reason, such as priority, or maybe making it alphabetical, that’s something I like to do personally, you can use the Move Up or Move Down buttons. Make sure to click Save before closing Folio Editor. When it saves, it will render the latest revision of each document together into a viewable PDF. You are able to choose which revision gets rendered, but the default is set to the latest revisions.

Watch the video below to see step by step of adding and editing documents in a Folio.
