How Do I Create a Nonconformance Report (NC)?

On Desktop, click the New Nonconformance button. A dialogue pops up. You are asked to declare what type of Nonconformance it will be, as well as what Facility it was found in. If the facility is not in the list, you can add it on the fly, and it will add itself to the Nonconformance as well as the facility pool for future Nonconformances. When ready, go to the next screen. Select whether the Nonconformance is a Nonconformance, or rather an Opportunity for Improvement, and then click Next. This next dialogue is where to input all the detailed information such as the label and description, which are not required parts of all Nonconformances. The Next button will not be enabled until text is in both of these fields. After those, the user can input the Cause, who found the Nonconformance, the Location, and then we come to Traceability. Traceability can now multiple entries, as long as they are separated by semicolons. When it looks ready, click Next. Here you have a moment of reprieve to review what you have entered. If something needs to change, click Back and fix your mishap, else click Next.  In previous versions of this module, one could only send Nonconformances to the Gatekeeper, who would then take over the Corrective Action process at that point. But since v3.99 we have added the glorious ability to optionally bypass the Gatekeeper, for this situations when the Gatekeeper might not be available, or you need to streamline your process a little further. This can be accomplished by adding your user to the Corrective Action Team user group in Desktop. You can select whoever you wish to. Click Next when you are ready to go. And we are finished! You can go and make another Nonconformance, or you can choose to Finish and exit the Wizard.

We have also added a video so that you can have a visual representation of how to create a nonconformance in our software. Please click the link to see it!
