Plan Before You Begin
- Compare – Compare the 2008 revision to the 2000 revision and understand the differences.
- Assess – Review your documentation against the new revision of the standard, and identify all the changes that will need to be made.
- Revise – Update your current ISO documentation by referencing the new standard, and making the changes identified in your assessment.

Not Enough Time?
If you have a pending audit, and are concerned that you don’t have enough time to complete all the work described above, we have provided a “Provisionary Pack” which gives you instructions on how to modify your current documentation without installing the ISO 9001:2008 template pack. This approach MAY allow you to satisfy the criteria of your ISO 9001:2008 audit, but you will need to consult your auditor to verify.
