How Do I Clear Non-Responding Modules?

What has likely happened here is that the user terminated their terminal services session without properly closing their Desktop and/or other modules so that leaves an open session indicator in our database.

To check this, open Desktop as an administrative user that has access to the System Information area at the bottom of the tree in the navigational window and select Log Ons. It should look very similar to the image below.

You will just see the workstation name until you expand the item by clicking on the plus sign. If what we believe has likely happened is accurate, there will be a status of non-responding in the column the arrow is pointing toward. Near the bottom of the window are a couple of buttons used to clear non-responding modules, either on an individual basis, or all at once. Just highlight the non-responding module and select the Clear Non-responding Module to clear them one-by-one or don’t bother selecting any individual modules and click the Clear All Non-responding Modules button to clear them all at once. The choice is yours.
